Although the official channel spacing on this band is 25 kHz, virtually all crystals available have a 20 kHz/30 kHz split instead of 25 kHz/25 kHz. This should not cause problems as almost all sets still in use are capable of operating at 20 kHz spacing. There is also some confusion on the frequency above 27.245 MHz (Blue). The official Blue/Grey frequency is sometimes issued as "White" and on a frequency only approximating 27.270 MHz. Once again, this should cause no problems as long as it is above 27.265 and below 27.280 MHz.

To identify the channel number of an untagged crystal, simply add 60 to the first two numbers after the decimal point of the frequency marking.
