Beautifully restored working Victorian pumping station with original beam engine, boiler house, gleaming model and full size engines, traction engines, horse drawn fire engine, craftsmen's tools and domestic appliances. Especially for children the Giant's Toolbox - a hands-on exhibition. Boilers alight and in steam on the first Sunday in month and Sunday and Monday of public holidays.
Crofton Pumping Station houses two Cornish beam engines (an 1812 Boulton and Watt and an 1846 Harvey of Hayles engine). The 1812 engine is the oldest in the world in its original building capable of doing the job it was installed to do. Croydon Airport Visitor Centre is situated in the former terminal building of Croydon Airport, London's first major Airport from 1920 - 1959. It is open to the public on the first Sunday of each month throughout the year from 11 a.m to 4 p.m. (last entry 3.30 p.m.) Entry is free but donations are welcome. Special conducted tours for groups of visitors (minimum of 6) can be arranged at other times for a small charge per person.
Over 100 years of mainly British toys with many visitor operated exhibits including Hornby trains, Scalextric, Meccano, Lego, a 1950ís helicopter and even working card models.

Located just south of US Highway 93 and Montana 35 junction in Polson, Montana is the Miracle of America Museum and Pioneer Village where over 112,000 antique artifacts are displayed. They include Indian artifacts, dozens of vintage cars, cycles and boats, guns, homestead items, 3 steam engines, tractors, military memorabilia and tools of craftsmen from fiddle makers to blacksmiths. The 26 building Pioneer Village includes the State Fiddler Hall of Fame, a complete one-room school house, sod-roofed log cabin, saddlery, smithy, carpentry shop, general store, tailoring shop, and jail. You can sit in Huey or "Mash" helicopters and operate the controls, or climb a stairway and look in the cockpit of a 1971 jet bomber or T-33 trainer plane. Occasional train rides available and ice cream bars can be bought at the 1926 soda fountain. We are open year around. The Tupelo Automobile Museum houses an impressive collection of 111 vehicles on display, ranging from an 1886 Benz to a 1994 Dodge Viper, portraying the history of the automobile industry through the decades. Another 50 or more will be added at a later date. Also a huge collection of gas and oil signs, and an equipped goob's garage.

Small museum with working examples of steam-powered engines from Somerset's industrial history. Also fully-restored land drainage engine built by Easton and Amos, housed in Grade 2* listed engine-house.
